Apple Cider Chili
Serves 8
2 Tbsp canola oil
2 Lbs sirloin steak 1 inch cubes
½ Lb ground beef
12oz sausage casing removed and chopped ½ inch cubes
1 Lg yellow onion chopped
6 garlic cloves chopped
½ cp chili powder
½ Tbsp chili flakes
½ cp Worcestershire sauce
2 Tsp cumin
1 Tsp dried basil
1 Tsp salt
¼ cp hot sauce
2 cans 14oz beef broth
2 cans 14oz peeled whole tomatoes untrained
½ can cranberry sauce
½ cp apple cider vinegar
1 cp chopped fresh cilantro
1 Tbsp back Pepper
Place olive oil in pot on medium heat. Brown the sirloin and
remove, then brown ground beef, sausage and onions, put back
the sirloin. Stir in remaining ingredients, bring to a boil, reduce
heat and simmer for 2 hours. Stirring occasionally. |
