Yankee Chili

Serves 15

1 Lb Northern Beans
1 Lb pinto beans
4 cups beef broth
1 can beer
¼ cp sherry
2 cans stewed tomatoes
2 Lbs pork
2 Lbs lean ground beef
2 Tsp salt
1 Tsp black pepper
1 Tbsp Onion powder
1 Tbsp Cayenne pepper
2 Tsp Oregano
3 Tsp garlic salt
1 Tsp paprika
5 Cloves Garlic
1 Lg yellow onion
3 Roasted jalapeno peppers
2 Tbsp Chili powder
2 Tbsp hot chili powder
1 Tbsp Sugar
2 Tbsp Brown Sugar
2 cans Tomato Paste

Cook beans and let sit for 1 hour. Put beans beef broth and 12 cups of water into a pot bring to a boil, adding salt, black pepper, onion powder, cayenne, oregano, garlic salt, and paprika. Add beer. Bring to boil, lower heat to medium and simmer for 1 hour uncovered, Stirring occasionally. Add Sherry garlic cloves, onion, 1 jalapeno pepper, 2 cans cut up stewed tomatoes, hot chili powder, chili powder. Brown pork, season with paprika and garlic, and cut up ½ inch cubes. Brown beef in same pan season with chili powders. Add meats to pot. And add rest of ingredients. Let simmer for 40 -50 minutes.
